A Yoga Gem on Maui’s North Shore

24 Luna Building, Paia Town Center, Paia
Just behind Charley’s Restaurant.
96779 Hawaii

Maha Yoga is situated on the magical island of Maui, right in the heart of the North Shore’s bustling and eclectic Paia Town.

We consider ourselves a “hidden gem” and like all things of value they can be a little hard to find!  You will find us in the Green Double Story building in the rear of the parking lot behind the famous Charley’s Restaurant.   Our second story vantage point offers a great view across the North Shore and Ioa Valley and as we are offset from the Main road you will enjoy a tranquil practice environment with lots of natural light during the day and beautiful sunsets in your evening classes!

There are numerous parking options!

There is abundant free parking right outside the studio!

Additional Free parking is also available on the street, at Mana Foods, at the large lot next to the Shell Gas Station or at the Community Center near the Church.

Additional paid parking is located next to the Post Office, a short 3 minute walk from the studio.

Things to do

Paia is a fun little North Shore town and extremely popular with island visitors! Our studio is perfectly located, right in the heart of Town where the many locally owned restaurants, coffee shops, clothing boutiques, art galleries and retail stores allow you to chill out with friends before or after class and soak up the relaxed North Shore vibe

Situated right next to Mana Foods and Choice students can stroll over to enjoy the healthy fresh food and juice offerings that complement and support all the good work done on the mat.

A post class swim is one of the best ways to cool off after class.  Paia is blessed with numerous beaches all within walking distance of the studio.  The Cove at Baldwin Beach, Baby Beach, Paia Bay and Tavares  (Kuau Beach Park) are some of the closest ones, all safe for swimming.

On those days when the ocean swells get big the North Shore is the place to be! Watching the surfers, kiters and windsurfers riding big waves at Ho’okipa and Jaws provides lots of thrilling entertainment and photo opportunities!

Paia is central for visiting upcountry towns such as Makawao and Pukalani (15 min drive), and is on the way to Haiku and the road to Hana.  Kahului Town and the airport are 10 minutes away and on the bus routes.  Kula is an easy 25 minutes drive where one can visit the Lavendar Farm, Ulupalakua Winery, Botanical Garden, and Zip lines.  Haleakala Crater is a 40 minute drive, offering spectacular views across the island!

There are many lovely hikes on the North Shore and Upcountry for those looking to explore more inland scenery.
