Linda hails from New Zealand and began Classical Ballet training as a child. Her love of this discipline became the foundation of her joy for movement. Ballet took her to Australia and London, where additionally she taught at The Royal Academy of Dance.
Rehabilitation in the Pilates Method for a dance injury inspired her to explore Pilates further and she trained with John Gossett of the Physical Mind Institute, NY in 2002.
She opened her studio, Bodycirque Inc in Houston, TX, in 2003 and served a community of enthusiastic and talented students. It was their progress and enthusiasm that sustained her for several years until she moved to Geneva, Switzerland in 2012, whereupon she freelanced, teaching Pilates and Yoga.
Linda has been teaching from her private studio on Maui, since 2017 where she offers equipment classes in The Pilates Method, The Gyrotonic Expansion System (she trained with Juliu Horvath 2004) and Anti Gravity Yoga (she trained with Christopher Harrison 2007) .
Linda believes strongly in the disciplined and refined movement of core conditioning and strengthening to support daily activities and is delighted to be invited to teach at Maha Yoga with her friend and yoga mentor, Karin Kuhn.
